Editorial Stream

Use live events, odds, and results to assemble an always-on editorial feed for homepages, event hubs, and content rails.

Editorial Stream

Diagram showing how events and odds data flow through a content engine into editorial surfaces.

An editorial stream is the running surface that keeps a sports product feeling alive: upcoming events, in-progress matchups, recent results, and betting-aware context arranged in one place.

ALT Sports Data can supply the structured data for that stream across emerging and alternative sports that are usually difficult to cover consistently.

What usually belongs in the stream

  • Upcoming events for planning and homepage placement
  • Live or recently updated matchups for active coverage
  • Odds callouts where betting context is useful to the audience
  • Completed events for results-driven recap modules
  1. Start with an events list filtered to your target leagues or time window
  2. Hydrate selected cards with odds or participant details where useful
  3. Move completed events into a results rail or recap block

Editorial note

This works best when the stream is opinionated. Pick the leagues, sports, or event windows that matter to your audience instead of trying to display every available event equally.
